KAEFER’s origins lie in maritime insulation. But we would not have got very far if we had simply stuck to insulating cold stores with peat, as Carl Kaefer did in 1918. As technology and the industry have changed, so has our company. And one of the most important sources of impetus and inspiration has been shipbuilding.
We have evolved from an insulator to a global service provider with a wide range of solutions and products for the seven seas. From insulation and, complex interior outfitting to passive fire protection, luxurious exterior decks and much more, KAEFER has built its strength on four pillars: cruise new builds, cruise refits, naval vessels, and mega yachts.
